Do you know who “Cousin Eddie” is? He’s the guy who doesn’t buy ammo, and makes up for it by mooching ammo off his pals. Don’t be a Cousin Eddie. Order a case of Turan 9mm ball ammo instead!

Turan was founded in Üzümlü, Turkey in 1997. The city was once known for its abundance of ü’s, but today is better known as major production center for 5.56x45, 7.62x51 and 9mm ammunition. Want a different pistol cartridge by Turan? Too bad. 9mm is all they make.

This round’s muzzle velocity is too low to rank it as +P or NATO. It’s just standard pressure, which launches its 124 grain full metal jacket bullet to a muzzle velocity of 1,214 fps (±33 fps) out of a 4” barrel. The FMJ’s jacket is made of the same brass as the case it is seated in. Beneath the brass exterior sits a solid lead core. In other words, nonmagnetic ammo right here.

In addition to being made of pure brass, this ammo’s cases are brand new. Its Boxer small pistol primers make this ammo just as noncorrosive as it is reloadable.
