This ammo’s cases appear to be made of conventional brass. In truth, they are only brass plated. Just beneath that thin veneer sits a solid steel case, which is (A) not reloadable, and (B) armed with a noncorrosive Boxer primer.
Wolf ammunition is typically loaded with bimetal-jacketed full metal jacket projectiles, which contain steel. Their Gold series ammo is the exception. Each 124 grain FMJ in this box of 50 features a lead core, copper-alloy jacket, and nothing else. Take it to any range you care to, and rest assured you’ll be welcomed with open arms!
This ammo is not made in Russia. It is made in Turkey by Ozkursan.
