This cartridge’s 124 grain jacketed hollow point bullet is designed to fly straight and expand fast. Its jacket features several symmetrically placed skives, which weaken it to enhance uniform and reliable terminal expansion during penetration of soft tissue. When fired from a handgun with a 4” barrel, the middleweight bullet inflicts more than 330 ft lbs of energy within 25 yards. Just one well-placed shot will be all it takes to neutralize a determined threat.
Federal Punch ammo is reliable. Each round has a sealed primer to ward off infiltration by humidity, sweat and rainwater. This ammo’s reloadable brass cases have nickel plating, which reduces friction as they cycle through a semi-auto as well as resists corrosion. Such shiny cartridges are also easier to see in low light.
