Remington offers their Golden Saber Black Belt line of ammunition to law enforcement professionals as well as any shooter “seeking the pinnacle of stopping power.” This 9mm cartridge sports a 124 grain brass jacketed hollow point projectile. The bullet features a Mechani-Lokt belt that locks its jacket and core together to control expansion, hourglass shape that holds the lead in its base in place to promote jacket retention, driving band at its rear to widen its base for superior bore alignment, and spiral nose cuts to facilitate expansion even after having passed through tough barriers.

This round’s primer and propellant are both optimized to create very little muzzle flash, which is important for self-defense in dark environments where the first shot could otherwise blind you. Its durability is assured both by its casing’s nickel plating and waterproof seal at its neck and primer pocket.
