Speer’s Gold Dot series ammo is always an excellent choice for any pistol. The Idahoan manufacturer’s Gold Dot Carbine ammo brings that same reliability to the PCC platform. These rounds generate optimal pressure, deliver optimal velocities, and secure optimal feeding in carbine platforms, and their nickel-plated brass cases do even more to ensure unerring functionality in semi-automatics.
This round features Speer’s 135 grain G2 jacketed hollow point. It is a bonded bullet, with an electrochemically fused jacket and core that keep weight retention high in the event of barrier penetration. The G2 bullet’s shallow nose cavity is filled with pliant elastomer material. The elastomer keeps barrier debris from rendering the nose cavity ineffective. It also compresses as it penetrates flesh, thus working its way down into the core’s internal fissures. The elastomer spreads the fissures apart, which accelerates the expansion that neutralizes a threat most effectively. Also great for coyote hunting!
