This round’s bullet is a bonded jacketed hollow point. Its core and jacket are fused together, and therefore nearly incapable of being pried apart by resistance from barriers ranging from heavy fabric to car doors. Even through safety glass such a bullet is able to retain the majority of its initial mass, ensuring it keeps the requisite momentum for deep penetration.

This bullet’s hollow nose cavity acts to create terminal expansion, providing maximum energy transferral, a cavernous wound cavity, and a lesser chance of dangerous overpenetration. Its bonded jacket and core help at this phase as well, preventing the kind of fragmentation that could make its wound channel shallower.

At 147 grains, this is the heaviest bullet you can usually find in a 9mm factory load. As the result it builds up superior momentum to produce an even deeper wound channel. To compound that, as a +P round you’ll receive a boosted muzzle velocity that inflicts even greater damage downrange. (Check and make sure your handgun is rated for overpressure ammunition before you risk destroying it with intense chamber pressures.)

This cartridge also features a new production and reloadable brass shell casing, non-corrosive Boxer primer, and charge of clean burning propellant.
