We all know and love 9mm ammunition. But what does it mean when 9mm is followed by the “NATO” acronym? Simply that it’s loaded to a slightly higher pressure than your conventional American-made 9mm, so its muzzle velocity is faster.

A faster muzzle velocity conveys a flatter trajectory. It also delivers greater energy on impact, but there’s a catch. Because 9mm NATO is comparable to 9mm +P in terms of chamber pressure, it could damage older handguns that aren’t designed for it. That’s why we advise only firing Prvi Partizan’s 9mm NATO ammo in firearms that are rated for 9mm +P.

Are you not sure if your handgun is compatible with this ammo? Please tell us what you have in the Q&A section and we’ll be happy to check for you! Most newer firearms will run this ammo just fine, including all Glock pistols.

Prvi Partizan is a massive Serbian ammo manufacturer, so you can find their ammunition all over the world. Each round in this box includes a 124 grain full metal jacket bullet – nonmagnetic, and non-expanding. It’s best suited for target shooting. You also get a non-corrosive Boxer primer, clean burning propellant, and pure brass case that you can certainly reload if you choose to.
