First box 50, had 15 misfire. Tried them all again ,only 2 wouldn't fire. Only at the target range, would've been very disappointed if I had been hunting. Ammo that fired shot very well. Have always used cci 22 ammo and have never had any bad ammo. Cci needs too address this problem.
Excellent Long Range Varmint Round
I own a Savage Model 93 with a Bushnell 3 X 9 scope that came with the rifle. My rifle likes this ammo best for accuracy. This round is great for target shooting and varmint hunting at ranges between 100 - 200 yards. The 20 grain FMJ solid bullets are more wind resistant and retain more energy at longer distances than the 17 grain bullets. I would choose the 17 grain V-Max or 17 grain HP for distances under 100 yards. One must choose the right round for the proper application. By the way, my over the counter factory stock gun can shoot MOA at 100 yards with these at 100 yards shooting from a bench rest. CCI ammo never disappoints and always goes 'bang'. I highly recommend this ammunition. Until next time, this is Rimfire Rifleman from Upstate NY
These are the rounds I use when shooting targets beyond 50 yards. The heavier bullet makes it less susceptible to deflection by the wind and, where needed, carries more punch to longer distances. Very, very accurate and predictable. Never a misfire or case issue. Get 'em when you can!
