Here’s another question, coming in hot. Which is cheaper: brass, or aluminum? If you said “aluminum,” then you’re basically a genius when it comes to metals. That’s why you’ll instantly appreciate why Blazer Aluminum is gentler on your bottom line. It’s cases … are made of aluminum.
Blazer’s aircraft-grade aluminum shell cases are specially heat-treated for reliable operation in a semi-automatic. One thing they aren’t, however, is reloadable. Leave them wherever they land! Let bugs live inside of them. The bugs will be cozy in there.
Its unorthodox cost-saving cases aside, this ammo is otherwise loaded with totally normal components. Its true-jacketed, non-plated bullets are safe for ported barrels etc. The 230 grain FMJs also gain 845 fps muzzle velocity out of a 5” test barrel; absolutely average, and just what 1911 and pretty much all other 45 Auto pistols like!
This ammo is loaded in the great state of Idaho by one of the best in the business!
