the latest box of fiocchi i got now has the small pistol primers and slightly different projectile. This is the same ammo that i got when i ordered the canned heat and i hated that ammo. I really hope this is not the new standard because i swear by the old style thats half the reason i shop on lg so much it is the only place i can get fiocchi at a good price. (Posted on 2/14/12)

I went down to the range with my RIA 1911A1CS to test three different cartridges. My first impression of the Fiocchi was 'Yuck, not too happy with the gold plated projectiles!'. The others were UMC and MagTech of the same weight and type (FMJ). The Fiocchi brand was the one that beat the others hands down with consistent accuracy. Each round was extremely consistent evidenced by the tight groups. No failures of any kind. There was a light grey residue left behind but it came off really easy during the wipe down between tests. I can live with the gold plating with this kind of performance! (Posted on 3/30/11)

I love this ammo!!! This manufacturer is right up there with Winchester with quality and clean burning ammo. My it's me but this ammo feels a little hotter than most of the plinking ammo out there - very flat ballistics inside 50 yards. (Posted on 4/3/10)
