This Hornady Critical Duty ammunition in 10mm Auto is designed to deliver the rapid incapacitation that a law enforcement officer or CCW holder needs to stop a threat quickly and decisively--even when the attacker is temporarily shielded by a barrier such as sheet metal or auto glass.
Critical Duty cartridges fire the FlexLock bullet, a hollow point design that expands for maximum lethality. The expansion cavity in the center of the projectile is filled with a soft polymer insert that helps produce more consistent results and keeps obstructions from clogging the hollow point and reducing performance.
Each round in this box of 20 fires a 175 grain version of the FlexLock at a muzzle velocity of 1,160 feet per second. This ammo is loaded in the USA and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases.
