Each of these handgun cartridges is assembled using a reloadable brass casing, a non-corrosive Boxer primer, and clean-burning propellant.

The round is capped off with a full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile that weighs in at 180 grains; this is a common middle-ground for the 10mm Auto caliber and presents a compromise between manageable recoil and muzzle energy. This training load will produce recoil comparable to self-defense rounds, but without the expensive hollow point. The bullet's copper jacket reduces lead fouling while its sloping body and flat nose ensure seamless feeding from magazines. As an added benefit, the truncated cone shape creates clean holes in practice targets that can be easily discerned from up range.
