Excellent 00 Buckshot
I purchased SB 00 Buckshot recently and was extremely pleased with its performance. It is a smokey ammunition and maybe dirtier than other ammo, but I clean my 870 Tactical regularly so it does not bother me.
Definitely recommend this 00 Buck.
Leaves one heck of a hole.
Very pleased with these shells. The grouping of the 9 projectiles is tight, and is devastatingly awesome. I plan on using these for home protection, and I doubt you'd have to pull the trigger more than once. At 10-15 FT, it will basically make one large hole, about the size of a pancake, in whatever you aim it at.
I have several Rem. 870 WINGMASTER'S & these rounds work flawlessly in all of them. From Tactical to Armadillo Shooting they perform well. They have a good grouping in a 20" barrel with a modified Rem-choke @ 20 yards. Will buy some more shortly. Going "BLASTING" Saturday (3/1/14)!!!!! FYI: LG is the best on the 'net. If it's listed, they have it!!! If you order it, you get it Super-Fast!!!! Thanks Heidi & Gang!!!!
Exactly What It's Suppose To Be!
I use this ammo with my Benelli M4 Tactical shotgun and it works flawlessly. I have zero complaints. It even burns clean. Not sure why one other person gave it such a negative rating but maybe it was the shooter, the gun or some other issue.
I bought 10 boxes and shot them without any jams, miss fires or problems of any type. My next order will be a case or two of the same ammo.
I highly recommend this ammo!
No Complaints - Excellent Price
Bought a case of these awhile back and finally got around to testing them with my Mossberg 500. Was very impressed in the performence of these rounds. Great groupings and had no issues after firing a hundred rounds. Would I trust these for home defense? Absolutely!! I have bought many different kinds of ammo for my 12 ga.,AR and .40 cal. from LuckyGunner and have yet to have a complaint about their service or products. Will always be a loyal customer.
great value priced ammunition
Had a chance to shoot through a few boxes of these today. First time running s&b through my mossberg and I'm very pleased. Cycled well, no accuracy issues and even though it's a non-issue i have to admit they look pretty cool too. Will be buying more in the future.
Zombies? No problem!
Loaded up my 870 Express Super Magnum 18 1/2 cylinder and was very impressed with shot pattern. I could not belive that I had almost all shot on a 2 X 2 target from about 100 feet. I shot 10 rounds with no problems and will update if I have any with the other 9 boxes. I got these for inexpensive loads for a tactical training but I will be ordering more!
Consistent and reliable
The ammo itself was a bit different than what I was used to. The case is transparent plastic and the end of the shotshell is capped instead of crimped. I was a bit worried about performance based on a couple of negative reviews I read, but I had very good results.
I conducted the test at a local hunt club on a slightly windy late afternoon. I used a Benelli M1 Super 90 semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun with improved cylinder choke.
To start the test, I fired with only 10 feet from the end of the barrel to the target, a typical self-defense range. Upon the initial shot I immediately noted the recoil was very light and manageable. The pattern from that first shot was merely 2-1/4″. The shot held a tight group even with the improved cylinder choke at this close range, similar to what you might encounter should you find an intruder in your house.
In order to get a better look at the spread and check for consistency, I backed up to 21 feet. I fired the rest of that box and another and the spread was consistently 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" showing very good reliability between the shots so you know what to expect from your gun. I did not experience a single malfunction nor did I have any problem with the ammo cycling the shotgun.
Overall, I was very happy with the ammo and would be comfortable relying on it to save my life.
I have a Remington 887 nitro mag tactical and every other shot with these jammed because they were poorly made. A shotgun guru I talked to basically said these rounds are "crap" and the plastic expands sticking in the barrel so it has to be slammed against a wall to eject it. He gave me every other sort of round like federal or Hornady and the shotgun performed flawlessly. DON'T BUY THESE!
Good for the price!
Purchased this ammo when it was on sale by the case (250). Used it at a 3-gun match (2011) and took first place in the shot gun, shooting it from an FN SLP MK1. Its a little longer then a standard crimped 2-3/4" shell, so only (7) would fit in the tube. With Winchester Super-X, (8) fit in the same tube.
