Shells were short
Review by some guy
I tried using these shells in a brand new, cleaned and oiled gun. They were not ejecting. I tried S&B 2-3/4" 00 buck shot (12 pellets) and worked fine. Upon further inspection these shells were slightly shorter.

I got this stuff when it was on sale for $89 instead of the normal price of $100, It was the cheapest 00 Buck at the time and it was worth it. Would buy again but my cheap a** will go for the cheapest stuff I can get when it comes to 12 gauge.

Review by Mossberg 930 spx
Awesome stuff for the price. Bought it to test out my mossberg 930 and didnt have a single problem, it cycled perfectly and produced a decent pattern. Larger than some of the other ammo i had but it also costs much less so im not complaining. Lucky gunner was great as always!

Great price, decent product, wonderful service
Review by FFLINCHER
I bought a case of S&B 2 3/4 inch 9 pellet 00 buck for possible home defense. At a measured 10 yards from the muzzle of a 14" cylinder bore Mossberg 590 12 gauge it shot patterns that averaged 9.5 inches between the most distant pellets, very close to the traditional value of one inch of spread for each yard.
At the same distance from a Remington 870 12 gauge with a cylinder bore it averaged 5.5 inches between the most distant pellets, giving a greater practical range for that shotgun.
This is the classic self defense load available inexpensively and sold by a company dedicated to American freedom. That all works for me!

they shoot good and price is right but these are the dirtiest shotgun shells I ever fired , I did the test drive in indoor range ,big mistake .

Good load. Patterns nicely and not too dirty, even with S&B's reputation of being dirty. I've only put them through my 870, so unknown how they would roll out of a different platform, but I suspect they would be just as good. I'm happy with the purchase.

Great Ammo - Great Price
Review by Joe Coastie
Every Round Cycles Perfectly. Using this as my home defense ammo and i have confidence that anyone on my property wont be their for long if a spread from this round comes anywhere close to them.

Good quality, good price and good service.
Review by loveless9044
Yesterday is the first time I have had to use the S&B shotgun shells I purchased from you, although my order arrived only two days after I submitted my order. I shot one box mixed in with a box of low brass shells for target use and my Mossberg 930 SPX cycled them all without a stumble, even though sporadic continuous fast firing made the barrel hot at times.

S & B vs Rio ammo
Review by shooterusmc
Beware .... Check the lengths of your rounds ..... Rio Low Recoil 00 Buck is great, but is slightly longer than 2 3/4", henceforth you CANOT go with 7 + 1 in a Mossberg 930 SPX. It will only load 6+ 1. # 7 wants to go in the mag, but it is about 3/8" too long due to the longer cartridges in the tube. Just sayin' ....

I have shot S&B ammo all of my 40 shooting years. Great quality at a reasonable price. This OO Buck is no exception. Buy with confidence from Lucky Gunner.

Good Stuff, Good Price, Good Service
Review by Jackmack65
Bought a case based on price. Discovered happily that it patterns better in my 870 than Remington buck at 2X the price. Some people have told me the S&B shoots dirty but that wasn't my experience at all. I love this stuff.
Loved the LuckyGunner buying experience with the one exception that I was bombarded with e-mails and had to unsubscribe multiple times. That wouldn't stop me from buying again. Good prices, fast shipping, what's not to like?
