From where, exactly? Why, from LuckyGunner.com, of course.
This ammo isn’t marketed as having low recoil, although it is a little less powerful than a regular 1-1/8 ounce, 1,200 fps MV load all the same. Its lighter 1 ounce shot column and slighter 1,180 fps muzzle velocity add up to 2-3/4 dram equivalent, with a touch softer kick on ignition to show for it.
That lighter shot column is offset by the size of its shot pellets: small #8 lead beads, which bolt out of the muzzle 410 pellets strong. Top Gun lead is decently hard, and it’s pushed through the tube by a recoil-absorbing wad column, so you’re doubly assured the slender shot string that makes easy work of clay. Two hundred fifty down. Eleventy million to go!
