These .223 Remington cartridges from Federal use Speer TNT bullets and will perform superbly with your AR-15 or other .223/5.56 NATO rifle against groundhogs, squirrels, coyotes, and other small to midsize game and pest animals. The Speer TNT is an accurate hollow point bullet designed to "explode" (or more precisely, fragment) to kill varmints quickly and efficiently.

Each cartridge in this box of 200 fires a 43 grain TNT hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,600 feet per second. This combination of a light bullet fired a high velocity results in more reliable fragmentation and expansion as well as flatter trajectories.

This ammunition is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. Federal has called Anoka home for almost a century and operates 175 acre headquarters and manufacturing facility there. The company is a division of Vista Outdoor, one of the largest groups of shooting brands in the world.

This is lead-free ammunition.
