Hunt LR round is outfitted with a light V-MAX: 50 grains, which bumps its muzzle velocity up about 160 fps higher than usual (for 55 grains, that is). The V-MAX is aerodynamic, and also balanced due to its AMP jacket and swaged lead core. It supplies all the accuracy you need to do the best sharpshooting you’re capable of.

The V-MAX displays the full brunt of its terminal ballistics at close and long range alike. Impact velocity as low as 1,600 fps will cause the polymer-tipped hollow point bullet to shroom out and shed fragments of lead and copper. That doses the varmint with a brutal spike of energy, tears it apart from the inside out, and … well, kills it, if we’re getting right down to it.
