Every round in this case of 500 carries a Barnes Triple-Shock (TSX) bullet constructed entirely of copper. These bullets expand on impact much like other hollow point ammunition, but they spread into four razor-sharp “cutting petals” for extra penetration through tough bone and sinew. This makes for an excellent hunting bullet that also performs well in self-defense situations.
Founded in 1981, Black Hills Ammunition takes pride in manufacturing high-quality ammunition used by all US Military Service Rifle teams and law enforcement agencies nationwide. They’re extremely popular on the civilian market as well, with a wide catalog of .223 Remington and cowboy action ammunition available. Black Hills ammo is used for testing by many firearms manufacturers including Armalite, Beretta, Mossberg, Smith & Wesson and other big names.
