This round’s bullet weighs a familiar 55 grains – but it’s no conventional target shooter’s full metal jacket. It is a boat tail hollow point, which combines a low-drag base, sleek tip, and gyroscopically stable thin jacket to deliver that very good thing called “accuracy.” The BTHP is not an expanding bullet, which is why we wouldn’t recommend it for deer hunting, but the sheer force of its impact would be enough to neutralize a threat or prematurely end any varmint’s career. Think a woodchuck can survive the kiss of a 55 grain BTHP? It cannot.
Every round in this box shares uniform components with one another. Consistent nonmagnetic bullets. Consistent noncorrosive primers. Consistent (reloadable and brand new) brass cases. Consistent results with every squeeze of the trig!
