This cartridge’s bullet is no full metal jacket. It is a boat tail hollow point: equally incapable of terminal expansion, but in possession of the ballistically efficient tapered base and rotationally stable thin jacket it needs to proceed downrange with all due accuracy. Is it magnetic? Let me put it this way: No sir, it is not.
Winchester loads these all-purpose 223 Rem rounds with reusable brass cases, low-fouling powder, and primers which go ker-blammy without making corrosive residue. You get 20 rounds when you order one box, which is why I strongly advise ordering more than one box. That’s good advice. Totally unbiased.
