This 223 Rem ammo is loaded to the most basic specs and ought to treat any AR-15 rifle the way it wants to be treated.

Atop this round’s brass case sits a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile. It’s a simple bullet – lead core, gilding metal jacket, and no steel – that offers consistent accuracy for range shooting.

Winchester’s case is heat treated to make it more robust. It will expand to seal the chamber against fouling propellant residues, and return to its original dimensions after ignition to become reloadable. Winchester’s nonmagnetic ammo is also non-corrosive, and the American company’s standard propellant burns away nice and clean inside the barrel.
