FSHOOO … fweeeeeeee … pop-pop!
This cartridge is loaded with a slightly heavier bullet than usual: 62 grains, like an M855 (albeit without any steel), which grants it a slight accuracy advantage and helps it hit hard at farther distances. The bullet itself is an open tip, which cannot clobber its target with terminal expansion, but which teaches varmints a very painful lesson in physics regardless. The open tip is built for accuracy and has the form-fitted lead core and rotationally stable thin jacket to show for it.
