This .223 Remington ammunition belongs to Federal's acclaimed Fusion series and makes a perfect AR-15 load for hunting coyotes or other varmints and small to midsize game. Each cartridge in this volume priced case of 200 (consisting of 10 boxes of 20 rounds each) fires a 62 grain soft point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet per second, with trajectories similar to the M855 ball used by the US military.

Fusion bullets are an advanced form of the soft point rounds that hunters have preferred for decades. Each bullet has a jacket bonded to its core at the molecular level, providing absolute resistance to core-jacket separation. That means that the round will expand consistently into a deadly mushroom shape without falling apart when it strikes the target. Unlike hollow points, these projectiles will not fragment in targets and destroy excessive amounts of meat or fur.

This ammunition is loaded in Anoka, Minnesota using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
