Goodness knows how many varmints the V-MAX bullet has slain over the years. It’s perfectly accurate enough for that purpose, as it combines an Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, swaged lead core, and sharp polymer tip to attain a screaming high 0.255 G1 ballistic coefficient (relative to its weight and caliber, that is). Upon taking flight out of a 24” barrel, the V-MAX will do this (approximately):

The V-MAX doesn’t just reliably reach its prey. It also tears it to ribbons, as its tip and core’s nose cavity are designed to trigger expansion and fragmentation following impact as slow as 1,600 fps. And thanks to this round’s Superformance propellant – which bumps up conventional muzzle velocity by 100 to 200 fps, without generating unsafe chamber pressure – the V-MAX has even more power to work with!
