This round’s 60 grain bullet is unbelievably well balanced thanks to its swaged lead core, carefully centered polymer tip and concentric copper jacket. It’s ballistic-ally efficient profile makes sure the V-MAX retains over half of its starting velocity at 500 yards. A 0.265 G1 ballistic coefficient from a .22 caliber bullet is nothing to scoff at.

The V-MAX’s sharp polymer tip is positioned over a deep cavity in its core. The tip builds up a lot of energy before finally connecting with the base of the cavity, at which point it unleashes the bullet’s energy outward in a stunning display of terminal fragmentation. And because the V-MAX is designed to still reliably fragment at velocities as low as 1,600 fps, this round’s effective range actually extends beyond 500 yards!
