This round is armed with the V-MAX, which gets the “V” in its name after the type of game it’s designed to kill. The V-MAX’s polymer tip is akin to the pressure plate on a landmine. When it gets pressed inward – KABLOOEY – rapid expansion and fragmentation. The V-MAX is also quite streamlined (0.330 G1 BC), and offers the following performance out of a 24” barrel:
