A: Hi Jay! Generally, we don't advise using the FMJ (or TMJ) projectile for self-defense. The JHP is preferrable, as it is designed to expand upon entering soft tissues, which (A) maximizes trauma to surrounding soft tissue, and (B) reduces (but doesn't eliminate) the risk of over-penetration that could jeopardize innocent bystanders. That said, an FMJ could very well neutralize a threat. It's the primary bullet used by the U.S. Armed Forces. Heck, you're not even allowed to carry hollow points in the state of NJ. And in this case, the 25 ACP is so weak that it can't even send a JHP with enough force to undergo expansion. That's really all there is to it. If you do carry a 25 ACP for defense, then you'd better aim it well sir.

A: Thanks for reaching out David! We don't make ammo – we sell ammo made by other companies, such as Federal Premium. We will carry 25 ACP as soon as we're able to get more in our warehouse. We update our inventory constantly, so I hope you'll check back in again soon!
