This round is loaded with a 100 grain HST style jacketed hollow point bullet. It’s designed around the FBI test protocol, and as such it excels at piercing barriers while simultaneously retaining enough weight to penetrate soft tissue to a depth of 14 to 16 inches. The HST JHP’s nose cavity is engineered to resist becoming clogged with debris, thus preserving its ability to unleash rapid terminal expansion. This cartridge’s bullet profile, low-friction nickel-plated brass case and precision primer are all poised to deliver most reliable possible performance in a semi-auto handgun. Uniform propellant charges serve up a steady 1,250 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4 inch barrel, so you’re assured at least 300 ft lbs of kinetic energy on impact at 25 yards.
