Sierra loads this Outdoor Master label 300 BLK round with a featherweight 115 grain hollow point. No subsonic muzzle velocity here, folks. The lead-core copper-jacket bullet hollers out of the muzzle at a rate of 2,290 fps. The 0.267 G1 BC bullet takes a straight path downrange. Aim to 100 yards and reasonably expect -7.32” drop at 200.
At 100 yards, this bullet’s energy would still exceed the minimum recommended for deer. The hollow point bullet does undergo zippy terminal expansion with less potential for deep penetration, however, so you’re best off sending it at a varmint. It’ll really do a number on it.
Sierra is most famous for their component bullets. This is their American-made ammo featuring their own high-quality bullets, as well as the new brass cases and clean-igniting powder and primers you need to say hello to you little friends as soon as you open the box.
