Every guy has two fantasies:
1. Being a cool ‘80s Wall Street mogul kind of guy, spraying champagne out of the sun roof of his limousine on his way to a big barbecue being held in his honor; and
2. Hunting with a 300 Winchester Magnum rifle.
We’re willing to bet you’ve already lived out one of these dreams – and would like to do so again, once you’ve found the right ammo.

We’ll even be so bold as to recommend the right ammo. Hornady Superformance, which is loaded to a significantly higher muzzle velocity than average!

This Superformance round’s 3,260 fps muzzle velocity is 3.5% higher than Hornady’s analogous 165 grain American Whitetail Tipped load. It has a flatter trajectory to show for it: one that drops ‑32.9” at 500 yards as opposed to ‑35.7” (1.5” sight height; 200-yard zero). It hits harder at the same range, too: 1,810 ft lbs vs. 1,647 ft lbs. And the most remarkable part? This round’s added power doesn’t come at the cost of added chamber pressure or other undesirable aspects of performance!

And how about that bullet: the Copper alloy eXpanding, which is totally lead-free. It is accurate, having the deformation-resistant Heat Shield polymer tip, optimum groove geometry, and peak balance it needs to attain 0.440 G1 BC. It is deadly, too, as its nose cavity supplies jolting expansion, and its monolithic body has the fortitude it needs to exit the quarry with no less than 95% of its original weight intact.
