A: Yes! This Sellier & Bellot 308 Win rifle round will be suitable for medium game hunting including deer. Most hunters will prefer a soft point bullet, as featured here, to provide excellent expansion upon impact.

A: With a 1:10 twist on a 308 Win rifle, I would consider a bullet in the 150 grain weight or higher, up to a 168. The 150 and 155 grain bullet weights shoot with good accuracy, however increasing your grain into the 165 or 168 grain bullets may result in better accuracy. This should not rule out the popular PMC ammo which is usually loaded in the 147 grain bullet, a great choice for the range.
