A: Hi Bob! I consulted this website for Nevada hunting laws: eregulations.com/nevada/hunting/weapons-regulations. It says "A person may hunt big game mammals with a rifle if the rifle uses a centerfire cartridge .22 caliber or larger and no larger than .50 caliber. The centerfire cartridge case length may not be more than three inches." The 308 Win certainly falls within those constraints – it would be odd for Nevada to ban America's most popular rifle cartridge from hunting!
As for whether this round is suitable for mule deer – it sue is. It's marketed for self-defense, but its stopping power is certainly adequate for hunting seer species that tend to weigh no larger than 350 lbs. I believe you'll be in very good shape with this ammo.

A: Yes, they would work quite well. They would make for a great hog or deer round.
