The 357 Magnum cartridge has been around since 1934, and it’s just as effective for personal protection today as it was during the FDR administration. If you’re looking for proper self-defense ammo for your revolver – or something you can use for hunting with your lever gun – then check out what Corbon has in store for you!

This round’s 140 grain projectile is set to clear a 4” barrel at a rate of 1,300 fps. It’ll hit a target at close range with over 500 ft lbs of energy, which is about double the minimum advised for defensive shooting. Corbon’s jacketed hollow point features a strong gilding metal jacket that keeps it intact enough to reliably penetrate to a depth between 9 and 15”. The jacket is serrated inside and out to promote terminal expansion that reliably doubles the bullet’s original diameter. You can count on stopping the threat while simultaneously minimizing the risk of hazardous over-penetration.

Corbon was founded in Sturgis, South Dakota in 1982. Their JHPs feature cannelures that keep them firmly planted inside their new brass cases. Their noncorrosive Boxer primers make their nonmagnetic ammo rust-free and reloadable!
