This round is kitted out with a 158 grain LFN bullet. That’s about as basic as bullets get, just a chunk of surly lead without a jacket. The economical bullet design may permit more lead to accumulate in a revolver’s barrel, but without copper it’s somewhat less likely to flick shrapnel back at its shooter. Its flat nose profile also lets this bullet connect better with a steel target or stamp a cleaner hole through a sheet of paper. Most interestingly, at 640 fps this round’s muzzle velocity doesn’t transfer a whole lot of recoil energy back into your hand. A fine choice for heating up your 357 Magnum as well!
Even the grittiest cowboys would rather have Fiocchi’s modern smokeless propellant and non-corrosive primers in their service. This brass cased ammo will also give you the right stuff for handloading!
