This 38 Special cartridge by Armscor is a jack of all trades thanks to its 158 grain lead round nose flat point bullet. It’s an awesome choice for range training, as its lack of a jacket makes its design more cost-effective, its monolithic composition lends itself to superior rotational stability, and its broad meplat stamps a clean hole through a conventional paper target. If you prefer shooting steel, you’ll like how a soft, flat bullet engages with the vertical surface to knock it over.

If you’re a lever-action fan with a 357 Mag rifle, this round’s flat nose profile won’t risk a magazine discharge.
