This cartridge’s monolithic bullet weighs less than an equally sized bullet with a lead core. At 77 grains it’s poised to produce relatively little recoil energy during ignition, which will help you keep your sights trained on the threat.
This round’s clean-shooting bullet is also tough. The SCHP will not lose a significant amount of its weight as the result of piercing a barrier or soft tissue, so it holds on to the momentum it needs to penetrate deeply. Terminal expansion occurs as the broad nose cavity folds out five angular petals. Even one or two of these petals enable the bullet to inflict a significantly more serious injury.
Sellier & Bellot’s 380 ACP ammo is designed to meet law enforcement standards. Their virgin brass cases, sensitive Boxer primers and evenly measured propellant charges are sure to meet yours as well.
