A: Hi Joe! Thanks for your question. 1:38 is a very common twist ration for rifles chambered for .44 Mag. That gives the best stabilization for the 240 grain bullets. The 200 grain should stabilize well, but a bet less that the 240. I have dozens of .44 mag firearms and I can see little accuracy differences between the scoped models, (2 Ruger carbines and 1 lever action Ruger.)
By the time the stabilization would be an noticeable issue between the 2 weights, you will have largely overextended the effective distance the .44 is capable of.

A: Yes sir! This round's bullet's nose profile poses no risk of igniting the primer it touches in a tubular magazine. Hornady specifically states that the MonoFlex bullet is good for lever-action rifles.
