Remington’s Disintegrator ammo is an absolute must when you’re shooting steel targets up close. You don’t want to hear pting-pting-pting only to have a little fragment of lead or copper come back to bite you on the face, after all.

This 45 ACP cartridge features a plated frangible projectile. Its core is made of sintered copper and tin powders, and will erupt into harmless fine particles as soon as it collides with a surface harder than itself. This pretty much removes the risk of splash-back ruining your day at the range. The lead-free bullet is also incapable of scattering carcinogenic dust into the air during ignition or following impact, promoting a far healthier training environment. The bullet’s electroplated copper jacket hardens it considerably. This helps to prevent it from fracturing during feeding or under the intense pressure of ignition!

This round’s lead-free bullet is complemented by a lead-free primer, so at no point will you expose yourself to toxic lead as you’re working on your aim. At 175 grains this round’s bullet offers a fast 1,020 fps muzzle velocity, although you should find its ballistic performance comparable to more conventional FMJ training and JHP self-defense loads. Each round’s high quality brass case offers an opportunity to reload once empty.
