WE HOPE YOU GOT LEVERS … because we got the ammo! Winchester American Lever Range is the applesauce to your 45 Long Colt lever gun’s pork chops, and you’re steadily eyeballing your opportunity to order a whole mess of it!
Is this the only ammo you can fire in a lever gun? Not by a country mile, but it is loaded with 250 grain lead flat nose projectiles that are contoured for safe magazine storage, seamless feeding, and rapid cycling. Winchester’s uniform propellant charges print tight groups, but they most certainly do not treat you to heavy recoil. This ammo’s muzzle velocity is 900 fps (20” barrel); lower than Federal HammerDown (1,025 fps), and much lower than Buffalo Bore Deer Grenade (1,890 fps). That means shorter effective range, sure, but at least you’ll feel a sight more comfortable while you’re bringing the fight to backyard plinkables.
No old-fashioned powder here. This ammo gives you the old-timey performance without coating your action and barrel in thick soot. More time shooting; less time cleaning. That’s what everyone in the world wants for you, sir!
