This cartridge’s total metal jacket bullet offers fundamentally identical ballistic and terminal performance as a conventional FMJ. But it is also special. Instead of a jacket which leaves its solid lead core exposed to igniting propellant gas, the TMJ’s jacket completely seals the core away. That’s why you can expect a cleaner barrel when you train with this ammo. It’s also why you’ll wind up inhaling much less heavy metal.
