A lot of folks get their noses bent out of shape when we refer to 45 Colt as “45 Long Colt.” And we get it. We’re sticklers for correct nomenclature, too, but we just want to make sure no one mistakes this ammo for 45 ACP. 45 Long Colt is what you want for an SAA, Judge or Governor – not a semi-auto!

Ammo Inc. of Arizona loads a real clean-shooting cartridge. They call this round’s 250 grain nonmagnetic bullet a “full metal case,” which is just another term for the bullet more commonly known as a “total metal jacket.” Whereas your standard full metal jacket has a partial jacket which leaves its lead core exposed to hot propellant gasses, the TMJ’s jacket covers its lead core completely. That’s why this ammo’s bullets won’t deposit lead residue on your pistol’s rifling or produce aerosolized lead for you to inhale.

Ammo Inc. provides even cleaner performance in the form of their Hyperclean Technology. It promotes fuller combustion of the propellant, which has the effect of further reducing barrel fouling. Noncorrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases complete the cartridges!

Great range ammo

Taking first few shots with a SW 460 XVR at our range. Fired 3 rounds on idpa steel silouette target at 50 yards. All hit. Fired another 3 at the 100, all hit. Fired 3 at the 150 yard target, all hit. Then fired 3 more at the 200 yard target, and I missed. Haha. No scope just factory sights but the ammo inc 45 colt fmc holds a good group. No missfires, decent quality brass and projectiles. Haven't tried to reload the casings yet but I'm confident they will be alright. Made in USA is why I gave them a shot. Went out and purchased 5 more boxes

This ammo worked real good in my 1873 single action revolver. Was a good price for copper jacketed ammo. Most out there are just lead at this price. Really happy with my purchase. Definitely going to be buying more from Lucky Gunner.. thank you !!
