Ideal for 1911s and other full sized handguns, these .45 ACP +P cartridges from Corbon deliver an impressive muzzle velocity of 1,150 feet per second using a 185 grain jacketed hollow point bullet.

While the 185 grain projectile is relatively light for a .45 Auto round, it still has more mass and a larger diameter than most other handgun bullets and produces excellent terminal ballistics in a self-defense situation.

This ammo comes in boxes of 20 and is loaded by Corbon of Sturgis, South Dakota. Corbon is one of the top manufacturers of higher pressure ammunition and has a great reputation for producing safe, powerful ammo.

These are +P loads, so they should not be used in firearms not rated for high pressure ammo. These include many older firearms and some subcompacts.
