This cartridge is armed with the power of the V-MAX. It is an accurate projectile with a thin and balanced Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket and streamlined polymer tip. Once the 60 grain bullet clears a 16” barrel at a velocity of 2,810 fps, its 0.285 G1 ballistic coefficient will see that it reaches 200 yards in one quarter of one second, and then sink to about -9.3” at 200 yards.
This round’s bullet will maintain a velocity in excess of 1,600 fps until it reaches approximately 434 yards. That’s the minimum velocity at which the V-MAX undergoes terminal expansion/fragmentation: a violent display of varmint dismantlement. The V-MAX’s terminal ballistics aren’t unsuitable for self-defense, either!
