This 5.56x45 cartridge by PolyFrang features a special type of bullet: frangible, which will begin to disintegrate the instant it meets with a solid surface.

PolyFrang’s patented Metal Impregnated Polymer bullet contains no lead, so it is a healthier choice for training in indoor ranges and cannot deposit lead fouling within a rifle’s barrel. The bullet has a flat nose profile for easy identification and to prevent fracturing inside the chamber, and it is even safe for suppressor use.

This ammo is an ideal selection for training with steel targets. It will greatly reduce harmful splash-back, and it will fail to do any significant damage to a sheet of AR500 steel. But just to be sure, this round’s bullet isn’t so fragile that it will fail to penetrate drywall or even a car windshield.

This round’s bullet is light at 45 grains because it contains no heavy lead. It offers normal ballistic performance – comparable to the M855 up to 100 yards, in fact. You will witness the best accuracy if your rifle’s barrel has a 1:7 twist.

This 5.56 ammunition is American-made, brass-cased, non-corrosive, and reloadable. Its box says it is for military and law enforcement use, but it’s legal for us to sell this ammo to civilians as well!
