The parachute was not originally designed for thrill-seeking purposes, but the brave and the bold made it their own. Likewise, the 5.56x45 was not initially conceived as a varmint and predator hunting cartridge – but that didn’t stop Americans from turning it into one. This round is armed with a jacketed soft point, which has a gilding metal exterior that stops just shy of covering its lead core’s tip. The JSP begins expanding immediately after bursting through thin hide, thus wreaking destruction on the internal organs a small game animal very much needs in order to remain alive.

This round’s recoil is lower than that of most 55 grain target loads. That’s just because its muzzle velocity is about 140 fps slower. It’s not an extreme difference, but you may notice that firing this ammo is just a little more comfortable – just like pulling off fast follow-up shots is a bit easier. Brass-cased, Boxer-primed, reloadable and Minnesota-made. Wow!
