Feeds flawlessly in my SBR through my 11.5" bcm upper. Have not tried suppressed or with glass yet, but performs flawlessly with iron sights and gongs out to 200yds if you have good eyes. Will try it on a hog and report back. Excellent value.
CBC 77 Grain OTM is Outstanding
This is great ammunition. Shot it out to 500 yards out of an 18 inch JP AR-15 topped off with an Z6i and got very consistent sub-moa groups with an estimated velocity of about 2,760 (according to my ballistic calculator and obtained drop at 400 yards, elevation 6,000 feet). I can't reloading better match ammo than this! Service and delivery from lucky gunner was very good. Tried the 77 grain CBC in my IWI Tavor just for kicks (everything on the rifle is stock but the shooting sight trigger pack) and my 100 yard groups shrunk from over 4 inches (xm193) to just under two inches.
I bought theses for my AR15 5.56 mm 1.7 twist, they can neatly packaged and a day early.
I've had no problems shooting them. Living in the state of Connecticut Lucky Gunner is one of only a few that will ship to me so I'll be ordering from them a lot! So keep up the great work guys
Excellent Ammo for the Price - .5 MOA at best.
I bought 1000 rounds of the CBC 77gr. OTM for use in my hyper-accurate AR (23.5" Lilja bull barrel with 1:8 twist on billet receivers and premium everything). This ammo is outstanding for the money. I've only shot 40 rounds thus far in five shot strings. The best group at 100 meters had four rounds touching with a total spread of .475 inches (outside edges of holes) with the fifth round being an outlier which increased the group size to .746". The worst group of the day was .943". Temperature was 77 degrees with nominal winds. The gun was being fired from a bipod front / monopod rear setup with Nightforce glass. It wasn't stabilized on a bench, and so shooter error must be factored in to the groups. However, if one does believe that the outliers and larger groupings were a failure of the ammo (not the shooter) and indicative of inconsistencies, those inconsistencies still created sub-MOA ammunition all day. For this price per round, you simply will not find better precision target ammo. Sure, there is better ammo available, but not at this price point. I will be buying another 1000 rounds.
