This isn’t a fancy SS192, SS195LF or SS196SR spec cartridge. It’s loaded with a simple and true 40 grain full metal jacket that contains a lead core and won’t initiate terminal expansion upon striking a fleshy target. The bullet’s 1,700 fps muzzle velocity translates to sufficient juice to cycle a semi-auto, as well as the characteristically flat trajectory for which the 5.7 is so famous.
Fiocchi is headquartered in Italy, but the family-owned company also operates their own production facility in Missouri. That’s where they assembled this ammo’s nonmagnetic FMJs, new reloadable brass cases and noncorrosive Boxer primers. A big box: 150 rounds, so target practice will only be over when you say it’s over.
