The 62-grain FMJBT projectile has a narrow boat tail design intended to improve the accuracy of your shot, while the full metal jacket lessens the buildup of lead deposits in your barrel’s rifling over time; ideal for the dedicated shooter who spends all day at the range. The Boxer-primed brass casings are heat-treated near the neck for reloaders who aim to get the most value out of each cartridge.

Prvi Partizan is located in Uzice, Serbia, and they have been selling their ammunition worldwide to various military and police organizations, including their own, since 1928. They manufacture this 5.56mm ammo according to NATO M855 military specifications which call for harder primers, moisture-resistant primer sealant, and lightly penetrating “green tip” SS109 projectiles. A muzzle velocity and energy of 3050 FPS and 1281 ft/lbs ensures performance that is consistent with common practice ammo.

Make sure to verify your rifle is chambered for 5.56x45mm ammunition before shooting. Rifles chambered for .223 Winchester ammunition are not suitable for the more powerful 5.56x45mm, and you should verify with the manufacturer of your weapon if you have additional questions.
