A: Yes sir! A soft point bullet between 120 to 140 grains is right on the money if you're harvesting deer with a 6.5 CM rifle.

A: Well, you'll certainly kill them. This round's a little more powerful than a 308, though, and it's soft point bullet's poised to do some pretty serious expansion once it sinks into the yote. I all honesty, you might have a better time with the Hornady ELD Match ammo we have in stock. That's not an expanding bullet, so it's going to leave the same kind of exit wound as a FMJ. Its pinpoint accurate, too, so you'll have a pretty easy time putting that bullet right into your target's heart – no terminal expansion needed. Just my two cents – I wish we had a greater variety of 6.5 CM in stock for you to choose from!

A: Hi Mike, This 6.5 Creedmoor ammo by S&B is not attracted to a magnet since it features no steel in its construction. It features a jacketed soft point projectile that has a brass jacket with a lead core as well as a reloadable, brass case. This should meet your needs well. Thanks!
