This cartridge’s 124 grain full metal jacket projectile lacks any characteristics which promote terminal expansion. The FMJ is simply designed to go from point A to point B with as much accuracy as possible. Its lead core and copper alloy jacket make the FMJ totally nonmagnetic, and its ballistically efficient profile and very slight boat tail give it a 0.400 G1 BC. When the bullet clears a 23.5” barrel to attain a muzzle velocity of 2,576 fps, it shouldn’t exhibit transonic destabilization until approximately 880 yards.
This ammo hails from the Czech Republic, where it is armed with consistent, new and reloadable brass cases as well as non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant. Sellier & Bellot has been in business since 1825. They know their stuff!
